In his new role, Liu will focus on both robotics hardware engineering and software development, leading Prime Robotics’ mechanical, hardware, and software development teams in Shenzhen. He will drive innovation in robotics hardware design and software systems, optimize system architecture, and ensure seamless integration between hardware components, software platforms, and Prime’s comprehensive automation solutions.

Liu brings extensive leadership experience in robotics and automation, having served in executive roles at prominent companies including Country Garden Services, KUKA Robotics, and Midea Group. Most recently, he served as CTO at an AI/Robotics company, where he led the complete development and launch of new commercial robotics platforms while building cross-functional R&D teams spanning mechanical, hardware, software, algorithms, and production engineering.

Liu holds a master’s degree in computer science from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and completed Executive MBA training at Tsinghua University. He brings extensive technical expertise in robotics hardware design, software development, mechanical and electrical systems, system architecture, and production optimization. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for over 40 patent applications and has built and mentored engineering teams totaling more than 1,000 individuals.
